MIDDLEWICH TRANSPORT FESTIVAL

In July 2023, Chris proudly took part in the Middlewich Transport Festival, bringing along his Rover 416 GSi — a well-presented example that drew plenty of attention from visitors. To complement the display, he showcased a selection of memorabilia from the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, celebrating his involvement in the event and sparking interest among attendees. The day’s highlight came when an Avro Lancaster roared overhead in a spectacular flypast, adding a fitting touch of British heritage to an already memorable occasion.

A FRENCH ADVENTURE

Below is a collection of photos from Chris’s memorable tour of France in his Rover 416. The journey took him through the scenic towns of Beuzeville, Pont-Audemer, Bayeux, Honfleur, and Beaumont-en-Auge — each offering its own charm, history, and character. Over the course of the trip, Chris covered more than 1,350 miles, exploring picturesque countryside roads, historic landmarks, and coastal views.
