The Commonwealth Car Club proudly hosted its first-ever stand at the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show, showcasing an impressive lineup including a Jaguar MKII, MG ZT 260 V8, Austin Metro and a Rover Metro. A standout feature of the display was the live restoration of the Rover Metro, with parts supplied and fitted by our valued sponsor, Best of British MG Rover Spares, drawing strong interest from visitors throughout the weekend. Our stand attracted fantastic attention overall, with many admiring the cars as well as Simon McRoy’s brilliant collection of 1980s memorabilia, which added a nostalgic touch and brought smiles to so many faces.
